I was raised as an evangelical in a military family, and converted to the Catholic faith in 2008, being incorporated into the Anglican Ordinariate in 2013. I first came out as gay when I was 16. Influenced by the writings of Venerable Dorothy Day, among others, I became an anarchist in 2011. Influenced by the fact that it is kind of a great show, I became a brony in the same year (haters gonna hate). My predilections for music, art, literature, and whiskey are more or less immemorial.
I’ve been blogging on all of these topics since the beginning of 2013, as well as writing a few articles and reviews for other publications, working on a novel and some poems, and doing home MST3K-style commentaries on terrible movies.
